Frequently asked questions

Common questions about SensAI LLC, how we work, and how to start.

What does SensAI do?

SensAI LLC is an AI engineering firm in Fort Mill, South Carolina. We embed forward-deployed engineers with clients to bring AI into their daily processes. We design, build, and operate AI agents and assistants, RAG systems, workflow automation, and enterprise integrations.

Where is SensAI based, and do you work with clients elsewhere?

SensAI LLC is based in Fort Mill, South Carolina. We work with clients in any location, mostly remotely.

What is a forward-deployed engineer?

An engineer who works directly with your team, on your systems and processes, instead of handing over a finished tool from outside.

Who works on the project?

Senior engineers and partners work directly on each engagement, across architecture, engineering, data, and AI delivery. There is no handoff to junior teams.

Can I see production work?

Oceni.by is a live multi-tenant platform for regulated asset appraisal in Belarus, and an appraiser signs off every report. Our open-source work includes horizon-mcp, an MCP server for Claude. More references are available on request, under NDA.

Is SensAI part of Anthropic's Claude Partner Network?

Yes. SensAI LLC is a member of the Claude Partner Network. Membership is not an endorsement of any specific project.

Are your engineers certified by Anthropic?

One team member, Dmitry Goubar, holds Claude Certified Architect – Foundations, issued by Anthropic in August 2026 and verifiable on Credly.

Do you only work with Claude?

No. Claude is our first choice, and we also work with OpenAI's models, open-weight models, and models hosted on your own infrastructure.

What is the difference between an AI agent and an AI assistant?

An assistant answers, suggests, or drafts, then waits for a person to act. An agent is given a goal, plans its own steps, uses tools, and acts on its own, often looping until the work is done. We build both, and we call a system an agent only if it meets that definition.

How do people stay in control of AI decisions?

High-risk or irreversible actions require human review. We build in guardrails, evaluations, and audit logs, and run evaluations before release.

How do you handle client data?

We minimize data exposure and use encryption in transit and at rest. Data handling, retention, access controls, and confidentiality for each engagement are set by the agreement signed with that client.

Do you hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification?

No. SensAI does not hold either certification. Security and data-handling requirements for each engagement are agreed in writing with the client.

Which industries do you work with?

Our public case is in regulated asset appraisal. The same kinds of systems apply to fintech, healthcare, legal, SaaS, e-commerce, and enterprise IT.

What happens after launch?

We can operate, monitor, and improve the system in production. We also document the architecture, hand over runbooks, and train your team so it stays maintainable.

How do we start?

Usually with a focused production AI assessment, which scopes the system, the data, and the constraints before any build begins. Email hello@sensaiworks.com with what you want to build, where the data lives, and any regulatory or residency limits.
